On-us Transactions

When a bank’s customer initiates ACH transfers for which the bank acts in the capacity of both ODFI and RDFI, the transactions are referred to as “on-us” transactions. For such transactions, the bank can settle within its ledger without having to clear through ACH network.

Same-day and Standard ACH

Standard ACH payments usually take 2-3 business days to get posted into customer accounts. Same Day ACH is an improvement to the ACH network. It allows both credit and debit transactions to be processed several times daily, resulting in same-day processing and settlement of ACH transactions.
Same-day ACH is finding several uses in bill payments, same-day payrolls and B2B payments.

Processing Times

The Federal Reserve processes the files on all bank working days.

Same day ACH transactions will be processed at the following times (EST) 10:00 AM, 14:00 PM, 16:00 PM Standard ACH files are transmitted at the following times (EST) 10:00 AM, 14:00 PM, 16:00 PM, 19:30 PM, 22:30 PM.
